Labour candidate to be Loughborough’s next MP cycles back from Labour Conference in Liverpool to Loughborough
During the busy Party conference season, Stuart Brady, Labour’s candidate for Loughborough at the next general election, took the opportunity to take a bike ride. A very long bike ride home from the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool to Loughborough.
Mr Brady undertook the over-110 mile ride to “crowdfund” for his campaign.
He kept social media followers up to date as he traversed the country, including his lunch stop at the Potteries Pantry in Stoke: who kindly chipped in £10 to the cause.
Stuart said, “there could be a general election any moment. That means that we need all the funding that we can possibly raise. This ride home was a great way of working in some exercise to my busy work and political life whilst also making some much needed cash”.
Stuart’s ride raised in excess of £1,000 for his campaign.
